Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is an actor famous for her character Bo in The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk have been the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also is a drama teacher on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching and attending play rehearsals. Silk appeared as a little girl in commercials. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. The early stage work she did included two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto for further development of her acting profession in November 1999. Later, she spent the decade that followed, she relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she was introduced to him at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married following a civil ceremony. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of Bo Dennis, the lead Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on the 20th of June, 2013 that production was underway for Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN named Bo's portrayal with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows on social media.
